Come be a part of the longest running genre film festival in the country! Boston SciFi Film Festival is looking for eager and curious people to join our team on a voluntary basis.

How will it work?

• The festival runs during Presidents’ Day Weekend in February. We have two venues, both online on Filmocracy and in-person at the Somerville Theatre, Somerville, MA, USA.

• The team works remotely, except during the festival. While we are mostly based in New England, we will accept and welcome people from all around the world.

• Average time commitment: July-November (2-5 hr/wk); December-February (10-15 hr/wk). Hours depend on the position and level of responsibility.

• We have a monthly team-wide meeting, held on Zoom the first Tuesday every month. Other meetings will be set up as needed.

• During the rest of the month, we stay in touch through Discord.

• This would be a perfect opportunity for those new to the film industry and/or New England, up-and-coming filmmakers, and any other sci-fi nerd eager to learn.
